Attorney Douglas Malenfant

Douglas Malenfant, an accomplished adjudicator and advocate, has joined Davis and Associates as the Managing Attorney for the Orlando area. He grew up in Central Florida and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 2010. He went on to earn a Master of Arts degree from the University of Nottingham in 2011 and his Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University in 2019.

Before attending law school, Douglas gained valuable experience overseas. He became a partner in a small business in Singapore in 2012. He aided with the day-to-day operations of the business and consulted on various aspects
of employment law while the business grew.

In law school, Douglas focused on family law, criminal law, and employment law. He took part in the school’s advanced family law practicum, represented clients with misdemeanor and felony cases, and continued to build his knowledge of employment law through coursework. After graduating, he became a Magistrate for Virginia’s 25th Judicial District. He held hearings in criminal law, injunctions against domestic violence, and mental health detention orders. He returned to Orlando in 2020 with his wife and two children to be closer to their families. In Florida, he served as a Hearing Officer for an appellate tribunal that decided unemployment compensation benefits claims.

Now, as part of Davis and Associates, Douglas brings his knowledge of family law, compassionate approach to his clients, and zealous advocacy to help families navigate divorce and custody matters throughout Central Florida.

Attorney Jarvis Wilson

Jarvis Wilson earned his undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from University of Central Florida. While earning his degree, he worked at the State Attorney Office in the 9th Circuit. Shortly after obtaining his undergraduate degree, Attorney Wilson obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, School of Law. While earning his Juris Doctorate degree, he excelled and focused on Family and Criminal Law.

After earning his Juris Doctorate, Attorney Wilson passed the Florida Bar and started practicing Criminal Law. As an aggressive litigator, he handled a high volume of cases. Attorney Wilson has handled Felony, Misdemeanor and, Violation of Probation cases. Additionally, Attorney Wilson has handled Civil injunction cases in the Panhandle and Central Florida area.

The strong litigation skills that Attorney Wilson has developed has now transitioned into Family Law, where he has the pleasure of litigating for your rights. His strong knowledge will assist you in your matter, while his eager and aggressive advocacy skills will help you acquire the results you desire.

Attorney Judith Ramos, Esq., Partner

Judith Ramos is a Partner of Davis Law’s Florida office.

Ms. Ramos grew up in Miami, Florida, and later attended Florida State University, where she obtained a degree in Psychology and Business. She later moved to New York City to attend law school at New York Law School.

Ms. Ramos is licensed to practice in Florida. She focuses her practice on complex dissolution of marriages, child custody battles, child support disputes, paternity actions, and domestic violence issues. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Ms. Ramos is here to fight for you and act as your voice that deserves to be heard, cared for, and treated fairly.
